living is easy with eyes closed,
misunderstanding all your secrets . *

, a lennon, a starr or a harrison. you're a name and no one looks past it; whether you like it or not. think of it as a label; a label you can't get rid of unless you decide to move away. it's not a matter of answering to this kind of lifestyle. it's a matter of having to live by it, just cause you breathe air in this city. you see, living in chapman's is a privilege, even if you're a poor old fart living on the streets. you get to live in the most dramatic of places, which has everything you want: from silence to riot, from poverty to lucre. its better than new york, milan, moscow, dubai. this is the it place, and it's community is all tied together cause that's just how it works around here.
when lennon said the beatles were bigger than jesus, he was right, and chapman's might as well be too. not the infamous murderer of john lennon, but the city named after him. if you live in chapman's, you live by the group that is given to you: perhaps you're a chapman, a mccartney
whether you like it or not.
on top, you have the chapmans. these are the people who can pick up their dog's shit with 100 dollar bills or are born into families who can. they're like the operating system, the main-frame. they're the ones you want to be. you want to be on top? then make friends with them. then, there's always someone who's second best. call in the mccartneys, who are the other not-as-important rich jackoffs that don't rub elbows with much anyone. they either want to be chapmans, they were chapmans that fell from the top, or they straight up don't like them. they're still pretty high up there on the social ladder, along with their good friends - the starrs, who are usually the junkies or just the eccentric poor and drinkers of the bunch. you have all the problems - and let's face it - you're weird. of course there's the lennons, who are the down-to-earth ones. they love a good drink, believe in getting along and make friends with pretty much everyone, but that doesn't put much money in their wallets. oh, and the harrisons. they're silent messes roaming around chapman's. sure, they might be what's considered the lowest of the low and are basically unnoticed, but they have more potential than you think.
still don't get it? we'll break it down for you.
you live in this city where your label is slapped on you without a choice. you're not judged whether you're rich or poor, but by everything. your wealth. how you act. how you dress. everything is taken into consideration. you're not high class, middle class, and lower class; you're one of these five names that's decided for you, based on who you are. it's a social ladder that you have to abide by, or else you're unnoticed. and really, who wants to be unnoticed? you want to be the best, right? well, just keep your head down and play by the rules and you might be fine.
let's say its a game. chapmans? the field.
we'll give you the "team." then trying to win?
