He'd fired her. It'd been eating at her enough that she was finally sick of it and she was going to find out what the fuck was going on. She left the bus as a woman on a mission who had just pissed herself off to the point of bringing up the past. Normally, women liked bringing up the past, but she wasn't one of them. She knew where he'd be. Well, she hoped she did. She used mostly common sense to find him, and it didn't take her long to hunt him down, "What the fuck is wrong with you?" She started, brows pursed and hands on her hips. "You fucking fire me for no fucking reason, you're acting like a major jack ass all the time and no one knows why because you're too much of an idiot to speak!"
"I fired you because I don't need my staff running around and fucking every god damn person they see," He retorted harshly. He didn't bother looking at her. He assumed she'd just go away, but much to his suprise, she didn't.
"I fucked one person, so sue me! Well two, including yourself." She scoffed, shaking her head in disbelief, "So what's your deal? Firing me? Almost killing Lars and getting in a fight? Being a major fucking dick wad to everyone on this god forsaken tour?"
Luke turned, looking her in the eyes, "You couldn't find anyone better than him? I guess it wouldn't hurt so much if you actually raised your standards." He turned back to what he was doing, fidling with a amp that hadn't been working quite right.
"What are you talking about?" She was confused and rightfull so.
"I'm talking about that fact that you fucking lied to me!" And within these moments, the years of bottling it up, simply flooded out. "You were fucking pregnant, you got stupid, nearly killed yourself and successfully rid of your little problem that you so conveniently forgot to tell me about! You left, two years later you come crawling back for a job, so I gave you one. Why? Because I care. Do I care too much? Maybe. So you can quit living the lie you have been living for years, because it isn't your little secret anymore."
"I didn't think--" She stuttered before he started again.
"You didn't think what? That I'd find out? That I would eventually fucking catch wind of what went down even though you confided in my brother? That makes alot of fucking sense, Riley. I wouldn't have cared what you had decided to do, but you could have atleast told me. I spent months trying to figure out what the fuck I did to you for you to just up and leave, and I couldn't figure it out, I couldn't find what I did to screw the hell up. Little did I know, I wasn't the one who screwed up! It kills me to see you submit yourself to some waste of life like Lars Trell - the living blow up doll, willing to sex anything. Hell, maybe you two are a perfect fit for eachother, because you're both a couple of sluts." Had he crossed the line? He knew he did, but he was pissed and as far as he was concerned she just asked for it. Years, three to be exact, he'd been bottling it up, trying to bite his tongue and keep from saying the wrong thing. But now? Well fuck it. She wanted to know what his peeve was, and now she knew.
"I'm sorry."
In the midst of his anger, his mind was closed to everything, "Fucking save it. You're done. Go home."
----
The scene replayed and replayed in her mind as she went over it, time and time again. She knew she was a complete screw up. Luke was right. She was a slut. She should have told him the minute she knew, but that wasn't in her. Riley never could tell people anything directly, or honestly. It was a good fourty five minutes before she picked herself up off her bunk, gathered her bags and began packing, accepting the consequenced that had come to her. Karma was a bitch, and Riley had just now really experienced how much of a bitch this Karma whore could be.
